Put an aluminum pie pan up and u target practice at it to improve your aim. Should make enough noise to scare them.

You got 250 straight run chicks and only got 12+ males??  That is amazing!  They must have put a bunch of sexed pullets in by mistake. I got two just hatched Eng Orpingtons, and both ended up being cockerels.  Wish I had your luck!

Yeah it's a few but when pop was alive we had twice that many easy they were his passion .I really keep too many I just sent over 100 to freezer camp we eaT many of them and everyone around here knows where they can get a chicken dinner on the hoof lol as far as luck don't believe in it, but yes I am to blessed to be distressed Amen
