thank you all, you bring tears of joy to my eyes for all the kind and beautiful words. it is very rough right now and my husband is in intensive care they were talking about a ventilater for him last night but are watching and waiting now. i laid my mom to rest yesterday. i now know what it means when people say, they looked peaceful. all the extra people are gone and it is very quiet here. i am glad i have all of you to talk with.

thank you all. it is awesome to have someone to talk to now. SOOO, grannys gone and done it again!! the big swap was this weekend about 5 min. from the hospital. i dont know what i was thinking. i didnt bring any carriers because i knew i was NOT going to buy any thing ! i am now the proud owner of 32 chicks.

about 25 cream legbars and one swedish flower. the others are just thrown in for good measure.(it was starting to rain). i was having a sugar drop and i just sat down at these peoples booth and said "you got a pop?" gave someone my van keys to pull it around for me. joked with the owners for a bit and walked away with all these chicks for 120 dollars. did i do good?

Cream legbars around here are still $12 for 3 day old chicks. I hope you didn't get all cockerels! My legbar hen is very sweet. She is not laying yetI

they are crested. does that make a difference? in price i mean. the swedish flower chick is my prize, it kinda looks like spazz with the colors
