We haven't tried yet. DH hunts, but not duck. Our thoughts are that he'll understand the difference between chasing chickens in the yard=bad and retrieving ducks on command=good. He's pretty smart, and exceptionally willing to please. He's gone from a dog who didn't understand "no" and put his paws on the counter, lapped dishwater out of the sink, ate food from the babies' hands, etc., to a dog who will sit by a bowl full of food, even if I turn my back and walk away, until I give the command to "eat." No more paws on the counters, no more marking in the house. He still has room for improvement, but I'm continually impressed with his progress.

Thanks a lot of progress. And he learned so quick.

mornin granny changed my avy just for you its an older one though... lost the diamond in my antique wedding band, new I would.  only wanted a plain silver band told him so. got H3ll for it anyways. let me know if you need my birth certificate next or I got a beauty mark too but thats sorta secret

Good morning all.     let dogs out a 7 am and then back to bed until 8:30   e    This is now my 8th Monday in a row.  LOL 

plumber's not here yet.     I have to run some errands pic up meds for Robert and then head out to farm. 

Happy BIRTHDAY PEARL   today is  also anniversary of Pearl Harbor in case any one is interested.  

this is the easy way for me to remember her birthday. I'll tell her y'all said happy birthday tonight when she gets home from school and work. She hardly has time to even think about getting on here. The deer jerky taste great. I may have enough to last a couple of days.
