meet the newest member of our little farm.

picking up a trained LGD. his current owners are moving, and already sold all of their livestock, and needed to rehome this fellow.

he was guarding their chickens and their goats, so he should do well with us, with minimal training, just some introduction time. hopefully.

Red, sally is on the hunt for you !    What did you do ?????

Nothing granny. You know I'm sweet and innocent

So my son informs me that the girl he has been crushing on at school has asked him if they could work together on the lab write up for their physics class.  He promptly invited her here for Saturday.  Unfortunately, hubs and I are going to a memorial service for our neighbor who died last week, so there will be no parent home.  Am I wrong to tell my very handsome, but socially awkward, son that he has to un-invite her?  Am I being a prude?  We've never met her.  I don't want her father coming after my son with shotgun because he invited her when no parents would be here.  :barnie

Sounds like it's not a big deal BUT this is the first person my son has asked over since grade school. :(    He's a senior now.

One parent staying home sounds like the best option if he can't go to her house.

well he aint here so I will tell yall that louly just put two of her chick pics up in my house, did she tell y'all she got hatcher of the freakin UNIVERSE AWARD ?  she hatched 100% in the:bow   NOTHINGBUTALIGHTOBATOR :bow
wait a minute. Just a light? I needed her here a few weeks ago. Congratulations Linda! :weee

Very nice Bert, he looks beautiful :love

And on the fox front, he's ordered his night vision! But oh dear lord the price! :th

Granny, he does really well with adults, always has, so not that stressful.  Parents always like him a lot.   He lives by rules!  That's why driving is proving stressful.  You can't make a rule for every possible situation.  He had thought they would work together in the living room.  That's where the evil XBox is, which is like his security blankie!

Still a few days to work out a plan.  I will keep you updated.  This is a pretty big deal.  Oh, he got a yearbook this ear.  First time.  Growing up I guess!

I got to head out now.  Supposed to be over at my sister's to help get some stuff done that requires 4 hands.  :hugs
Twist , Bert can y'all think of any reason that campings going to her sisters house to help her with something that requires four hands for. :gig

Very handsome doggie!

the previous owners said he never slept under cover, always out and about, preferred the hay bale, bc it would let him be up high to see.
