I'm back in. It is HOT. Got three bags of shavings in the run, fresh hay in the coop and loft. I topped off the juvie feeder, but I need to go back out and fill the layer, then I won't have to worry about it in the rain. This is a test of the "weatherproofing" I did yesterday. I rearranged the tin on the run, and since it's old and warped I'm afraid that instead of running off it's just going to pour in the middle of the run. :/
I can't see that selling three made any real difference in the coop crowding. I may have to advertise a few more. The guy who came yesterday morning called in the evening and just raved about how much he loved them, and said if I have any more after the first of the year that he'll come back for them. So if I can wait, then they'll get a really great home.
