So can I tell a silly story this morning about shenanagins between the mutt and miss sparkles nugget?
Peach was full of hijinx this morning. Came out near me, gross old tennis ball in her mouth (hinted to hubs maybe he should get her some tennis balls for Christmas lol) and wanting to play. So she goes tearing off towards the house, and of course sparkles...head down....tears after her. Peach slows down when she gets near the patio and sparkles almost catches up, until I look at her and in my stern voice "Sparkles Nugget don't you be picking fights with Peach now!" (Yeah when I use the last name, the nuggets know lol)
Sparkles stops, looks at me all innocent like, and hops into the garden like that was her intention all along. Not like she hasn't dived for the dog before.
My tolerant dog. Gets bullied by a pullet.
Oh she wants to be a house chicken. I draw the line though.
She was really funny the other day when it was pouring down rain. The others were hiding under the covered mare motel, she was by the kitchen door, I open the big door to check on the chickens and there she is on the other side of the screen door chatting away at me.
I have that problem. I have so many odds and ends for future projects, but never enough time or energy. I'm beginning to think my DH is a blessed saint for putting up with me and my compulsions.Oh decoyshey, prostar, start treating chickens or something similar like his car fetish. I've never really been into cars, but I do duck hunt. Decoy shopping and buying did get bad one year.I tell you Bert you would be a good pal for my other half!! His shooting stuff that he gets often gets out of hand! I'm sure he don't need as much as stuff as he has :/

I wish. I tried to convince the hubs for a desk in the garage I could use for office/sewing/etc. no dice. He's taken it over completely.
I also know the difference between disposable money and money we need for food/bills/etc...so I haven't gotten fabric in a very long time and am dangerously low on thread. Grr.
Oh well. Hopefully this new temp job will give me some disposable income.
My babies are only a week old and they already have wing feathers and little tales growing. I forgot how fast they develop. I'm gonna be attached to these birds before my sister is ready for them....![]()
I know just how you feel, I get very attached to the chicks I do especially if they don't sell very well. It is amazing how fast they grow
How long untill your sister can take them?
Oh nearly forgot
