I have a 47-in table right now, and a sewing desk, and a computer desk. The table has a leaf that's the exact same size as the top, so it can literally double. I did that a few years ago when I had all the 20-somethings quilting with me.

You had quilting bees? That is awesome

Depended on whether the introverts or extroverts were participating. If just the introverts showed up, we all quilted and listened to music, occasionally asking for help or an opinion. If the extroverts showed up I sat on my office sofa and repeated myself, because they were too busy chatting to pay attention. But it was still fun. I had up to seven people working on quilt projects that year.

so where do "verts" come in  LOL   I can be either or.

Not sure I understand the question? We had some who floated back and forth, and some who opted out of quilting who would sit on the sofa and read.

Our summer staff functions like a big loud frat house family, and on time off the introverts would be pressured into hanging out and being social, which just stressed them out. Being a giant introvert myself, I started "introvert's night in" where we could be social and community-minded on our terms. And of course the extroverts showed up as soon as they realized people were hanging out. It went really well for a few years, until I lost the staff who really craved it.

We only had two introverts this year, and their dust was settling before you could finish an "amen." So I spent a lot of time in my bedroom where the extroverts couldn't annoy me. :D
