techinally church is the building    Mass is what you attend.   Every mass includes holy communion and yes we venerate Mary,  she is huge in the catholic church.   I think most Christian religons  boil down to the essence of the same thing.    And really I guess it should  since most of them at one time were catholic before splitting off.

yes. Church is just a building. I guess mass would be like our worship service? It use to worry me when I was little. We were Baptist and my grandparents were Presbyterian. I thought one of us were going to he'll for sure until someone explained it to me Lol.
