Ohio?? I have never been there but I don't think it's more than a two day drive from me.
Weather person is calling for 50-60 mile an hour winds for here tonight. If I disappear, probably lost signal. We have generator for a lamp, pump & furnace. So not worried about that, more worried about all the tree damage that is still remaining from the straight winds storm that blew thru the first week of Aug. Still have a lot of trees hung up in other trees that could come down & take out power for many or cause other damage. Hope granny & Mare remain safe.
Well my Silkies are just pet quality. Not all of them have the 5th toe. I have bearded & non bearded. I have found only one chick out of this hatch that has the 5th toe on one foot. Strange, I have never had that happen before with the pure Silkies. Three of the chicks are a Silkie mix so that is to be expected. I will send them off to my brother-in-laws in the spring. Slowly getting his flock replaced. His birds were getting too old, not laying good anymore.I sooooo want a silkie badly....![]()
