i know billy, I just went through the same thing with my old dalmatain, I know EXACTLY how she feels.  sucks too, but I dont regret my decision afterwards I knew it was the right one.   I feel terrible about her old sweet cat.  But if she is like my jasper was, she just isnt the same cat anymore either.  it was so dang hard, I cried for a month before I made the decision.

I'm sorry Sally. :hugs. We've all been there I think. It is a very hard decision to make. I really don't know which is harder. I hate making those decisions. I hunt and you'd think I'd be able to just put my own animal out of its misery but I can't. I always let the vet do it. I saw on a thread where someone bought some dry ice from Wal-Mart and put their whole flock to sleep because of disease. I may try that next time I have one bad off. Still don't know if I can do it.
