Oh that's scary, I'm with Tippy on saving up for a quality bator that will do the job she wants without the risks.

2000 posts behind. Maybe i have toooo many responsibilities and not enough time. Chickens have started back laying. Got 9 eggs yesterday. So much rain that thick layer of hay has disappeared into the mud in the chicken pens. Still raining tonight after a high of 79* today. Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas.

I was under the impression that she was using lights, not a stove element, I apologize for suggesting she just try it ....
