I dont think its ever slow there. I cant keep up. . this thread on the other hand has been slow since before Christmas.

You think maybe all these things are related?   Took me a long time to get used to my mom not being here. Still get sad, especially this time of year, and it's been 9 years now.  Hard to believe, seems like yesterday.  We were really close. 

I cried yesterday because i miss my mom & mil. Mil died on Christmas eve 1999. Mom died in oct 2000.

I thought Legends of the Fall was pretty bad too.

There is more rain headed toward me, too. We don't need it. My barn/coop are pathetic, muddy, stinking nightmare.

sometimes slow is not such a bad thing. We you are dreading checking in because you have 500 posts to catch up on in less then eight hours, It is nice to have a few slow days. IMO
