So granny, do you have a specific breeding program in mind? Going for the tolbundts? Do you still have breeding seramas? Once your bator is up and running, that is.

I do ! I want the tobunts first then I am hoping to breed color to their eggs. so I am going for the color, chickens and eggs.

I still have the seramas they are trying to sit and I thought of using them for bators but they only fit one egg. hahaaa

Maybe they will hatch some on their own. I've had three or four sitting for months! Still no fertile eggs, though.

A tolbundt with colored eggs would be cool. I'd love one that could see too!

was thinking on that too. If I cross them with EE they are going to lose some top then breeding them back to polish should give them enough to stand out but still not as heavy a top. that is the charm of them though. I keep mine trimmed . if I use the chicken enola has (blue eggs) they have a small top It wont be as noticeable. Just depends what i can find when the time comes.

Mostly. They're calling for ice here... I'm going to make tea or coffee in the morning.

Is lily staying home or still roaming around?

Christmas day she took off and was gone all day I had a house full . mostly I have to force her to go outside . especially with this rain. They all hate it.
