Hi granny! Haven't read anything, but I can certainly look around and see. Most diseases and disorders are based in chemistry, since that's how our bodies work. Makes sense to me that we should look for diet related cures if there are any.


Interesting info about the rancid dog food. My dad had some left over dog and cat kibble, years old, that he gave me to feed my critters. I was thinking about feeding it to the chickens, but now I will throw it out!

remember the pound gave me 3 bags all expired ? they ate 2 bags fine and i started on the 3rd and noticed they were not thrilled . One stopped eating . was newfie told me smell it. It smells bad !

ohh forgot ! heres one thing I learned from drs. give them caffeine. yup, thats right caffeine .. works just the opposite . the drug of choice for adhd is speed . because it calms them. A great test IMO is see if caffeine calms them. Something drs. dont tell you about ALL the add meds. It can and will cause heart problems. It is normally temporary. Anyone want to chance it ? I did and I was so wrong. When Robert developed a heart mumer I stopped the meds and told the teachers If they need to take him to the gym and run in circles beside him to teach then that was what they were going to do.

Old supervisor talking here...This is a new job. Sounds like you have some slackers as bosses. That provides you a great opportunity! Id have asked the big boss "I know i'm a new hire, but if you'll tell me what to prioritize, what you need done, I'm sure I can handle it. If you could be available by phone if I had a question, let me give it a shot!" Some middle mgmt take great pains to not let their boss see someone else shine. I'd be helpful hanna!

Movie was cute. DH came with, so we had man-to-man coverage!

Then DD got her ears pierced!!

She gasped but never shed a single tear. I, on the other hand, felt throw-up sick. I wasn't expecting this to be such a milestone!

Good Neat I would have responded sooner but BYC is acting up and I was also researching my new "trial breed of chickens" pretty sure I am going to try Delaware's this year. I also think I am going to "rehome" most of my light brahma's to the people I get raw milk from, They lost most of their layers this fall due to an eagle and a couple owls. Most of the old girls if not all for sure. By old I mean 3 or 4 . Need to thin the flock a little,

Twist, I am really happy with the Delaware. Wish I had more. Solid steady layer of BIG brown eggs. Not flighty, coop up well. Not cuddly but not mean, gets on well with the other breeds. Like the BO's really well too. They hate this heat though. Don't care for the SLW or GLW as much as I thought...pretty spotted eggs, but just med sized. Bullies too.

Or cut a rug as they(the elders) called it .. My great aunt would buy a piece of linoleum ,move the furniture outside and before the night was over they had danced the pattern right off the floor ! Next party, new rug. hahaaa even my mama played the fiddle
