I wanted to post this since the twistmeister mentioned leaf lard it's a purty interesting article especially if you have hogs, or buy unprocessed hogs like twist and I'm sure others do I know I buy a hog about every year to process

My hogs and chickens and cows for food come in a package from the store. I'm kinda odd about that. If I had to dispatch an animal myself in order to eat meat, I wouldn't be able to eat meat.

That is so maddening! Especially with the hours you work! I would so enjoy raising a rucus at about 4 am when thier drunk butts are trying to sleep it off!
