sorry but it would truly send me thru the roof to cook something and then have them all walk by it for something else. I would go postal on them and then start to loose my temper

My favorite one is when they sit and fill their gut then tell you how it could of been better..

That has happened a few times around here then I go on strike and stop cooking until they beg. Drives me nuts.. I am not a short order cook.

or glorified rice was huge for us. Mom used to cook a sweet rice almost like runny oatmeal in constancy and then we added milk and cinnamon sugar to it at the table BUT I can't get that to work.

i can't either and have tried..the same with oatmeal.
