Hi all! Boy you were chatty! Loved reading the posts as always. Hard for me to chime in about hatching and different breeds and such cause I don't breed or hatch, don't even have a roo! But it's very interesting to read.
Boring update: My 17 hens are doing great. Crazy girls! Laying is all over the place but so is our weather! 4 then 11, then 5, then 9, then 11...but still laying really well, big beautiful eggs, The EE's have slowed down, out of 3, I'm only getting 1 blue egg per day. Same with the Marans, out of 3, 1 chocolate egg per day.
Can't complain about our weather, glad the storms and ugly have passed for most of you.
Nothing fun or funny to report here, so I'll eat dinner and

no girls do too. multi colored one is a hen. the lay about every other day. not good broodys but they can go broody. just rare.
