Morning all - up and around and getting ready for a day with Granny, you all should be jealous!!!! I promise not to hoard her to myself for *too* long.......maybe I'll make you all pay a ransom to get her back!?!?!?!?

Oh, and a little update from last night - thankfully it's wedding bells and not the pitter patter of little feet that DD wanted to tell us about. Still not so sure even that is the best idea ever, but it's young love so what are you going to do. They are on the same page with a long engagement (at least for now, we'll see how long that lasts) so there's that. Most importantly, DD is happy and they are good for each other. Gah, I feel so old.

Debating putting on big girl clothes and schlumping to the grocery store.

Hubs has been looking at real estate. Oh hey, look at this $400k house! This would be great for us!

Yeah, the house and land would be fabulous hubs but we'd still have to pay for it somehow....unless you want to part out some projects and sell some others, it ain't happening.

Sigh.

i'll be at the hospital as much as I can then at the rehab center. i'll need to care for the doggies too and will post when I can. I wish I could care for him here.For the first 3 weeks, he'll require meds and more intensive care than I can give. My house isn't wheelchair friendly. he's a very proud man too and would never let me care for his personal needs. He doesn't want to be a burden. He won't come home until he can walk and shower on his own. We've got this. I'll get PT here then. I just know how they treat people in nursing homes that don't have family there every day to watch them.
