Granny I just googled saffron rice. It says to cook it in chicken stock and butter... So ignore what I said and do it like that then fry your sausage seperately.

The liquid should cover the rice by at least a half inch in the pan before you cook it...

Just remember I'm going to exhaust all my stupid ideas before I use any of yours. Last year I got mad and hoisted the Frankenstein tractor on my shoulder and dragged it across the yard. I like toa died. But DH had made me mad and I wasn't about to be bested.

True, sort of. I still like to be right myself.

I don't have to wait long. DH could walk home in five minutes we're so close to the office. I know he's working on some contracts today, so I can wait a bit. Sun is shining, so maybe the ground will dry a bit more.

I've got a piece of plywood out there, but I can't lift the tractor to get in on the plywood. It's gunked up in front and on that cross beam with mud, hay, and pinecones.

Fry sausage in no or little fat... Until golden then add veges to it and sauté till its to your liking. I have never had saffron rice so I don't know what it taste like. Lol
