Which chicken is on top of your Hona cage? If no one gets sick, I think your quarantine can be shortened. I've brought new birds here at least 5 times, and did minimal quarantine, if any at all. Only had a problem once, and luckily the sick pullets that were shipped here showed symptoms next day and I kept the problem from spreading. The pullets had to be culled.

thank you for the info on the roo. Will the Vaseline hurt his eyes ? I have seen those birds and they are very pretty. I dont know what the cost either or if I have every seen one in person. He definatly broke his legs in the joint where I suspected because the new bone groth is visable. I forget what its called and he had mites and maybe the face mites too. so he was weak. Is weak. hence the hamburger. I do need to fatten him up. I have rooster booster at least 2 yrs. old and wonder if it would be safe or not.
