Red  its a series where they take current families and put then in WW2 housing and what was normal and then have them live as they did in the 1940's  during the war with ration books, and everything period accurate.    Really interesting.

Our last family vacation was at an old ww2 base.. We lived in the military housing of the time period and walked the bunkers... My kids swore it was haunted. Leave it to my dad to plan a vacation with out tv.. Or internet and spooky furnitings. It was fun though!!!

CHICKENS  HURT MY HEAD  :th   I removed/rehomed  15 hen a couple weeks ago and now egg production is up 1 to 2 dozen eggs a day.  :hu   Any suggestions as to a reason.
Yes, had the same thing happen here. It is because some of the old biddys were bullying or causing strife in the flock. I ended up getting more eggs this fall after rehoming 11 birds & that was with 5 going thru a hard molt at that time. Flock dinamics is huge.

You responded fine honey, shared my brothers picture today because I needed something to jump start my motivation level. I have a whole lot more than 20 pounds to lose, but even if I could do that much my joints, my back & feet would feel so much better. I've been working on it, but sometimes the blahs cause me to go backwards & I don't want that.

that sounds like a good show. I bet the families have a time without all the technology that we have today. I've always wanted to try to go out in the woods just to see if I could survive for a week or so. Ofcouse when I was healthier. I'd be rough on me now.
