Wish y'all lived near me. I found hona chicks for $25 each. I'm going to get them. The lady said they're not selling and she's trying to move them. So that's got me a little nervous. But hoping I've got a little more street cred in the local chicken community than she does.

I panicked a minute because the chicks I'm after are 30 minutes from me and I thought you were going to snipe my peeps!

Those eggs and chicks are a bit cheaper than the breeder I went to asks for hers. I like seeing those juvie prices, though. I can grow these chicks out and make my money back. Maybe. It's always a gamble.

We rank one of the highest cost of living states as well. Hopefully it will go down but 2.40 isnt bad either considering what we have been paying.
