yes!!!

digging holes for my breed hoop runs.......

I will actually have several of these, not just the two I have shown on the sketch.

I have some 4" top posts, that are 8' long, so I should be able to get two from each post. I'll get the lumber and tin for the sides on the bottom, and be ready to go.

now you know thats not enough info. are you cementing ? what type of soil do you have ? and how many are you making ?

I will have six of these coop/hoop/runs. they will be about 8' wide, about 7' tall, and as long as I want to make them, but will be about 30ish feet long.

all of the people doors will be on the same end to make it easier and the people door/gate will hold the feeder and water.

the roost will also be on the same side, and the nesting boxes will extend out past, so you don't have to go into the run every day.

feed, water and check eggs from the outside.

one will house the pure RIR's, one will house the pure barred rocks, and one will house the pure white rocks, then one will house black sex links, one will house red sex links. then one will house the younger birds, as a grow out pen.

I will still have to rest of the chicken yard, and an coop, for mixed birds and for fun birds..........then I have a large enclosed coop/run, that I can keep sick or injured birds, that also houses the rabbit hutches.

but coming soon, will be rabbit tractors.

Morning Sally! Stay warm!

the posts will be down 24"

we don't have snow here, so only partially covered with a tarp for shade.

I have black gumbo soil, pain in my rear to dig, but the holes don't have to be very wide.

oh and I forgot, the rest of the chicken yard and coop, will also be for any roos for the pot, or to sell.
