This morning, Megan and I went to Burlington so she could get some new clothes for work. So, since I don't have a decent looking coat, I looked for a really warm one. Found the style that I liked, one with a hood and a zip in zip out liner, not lined in nylon......

Tried it on, discovered that one of the pockets was accidentally sewed shut at the factory and told Megan that I was going to ask for a discount since it was obviously faulty. Took it off and saw that the inside of the coat was now coated with dog hair.

Evidently when I tried it on all the dog hair from my shirt stayed in the coat.....

So, I go up to the register and politely ask if I can have a discount since the pocket is sewn shut and someone obviously tried it on and got tons of dog hair in the inside of the coat....... She goes and asks management if a discount is available, comes back and says I can have 20% on the condition that I cannot return it.

So, I got a coat that was already below 1/2 price on clearance for $53

Megan asked me when the last time was I bought a new coat?? I can't even remember, but I think it was a new set of Dickies coveralls that I have since completely worn out and thrown away. Did I tell you I love my new coat????

More hair than I need, I guess. Pillow was damp too. It's very humid/damp here now, but cool.

No. 500 pages of FUN! You all found out they weren't guineas around well before page 100 anyway. Young lady that started that thread was extremely intelligent, I think. Too bad she and some of the others don't seem to be chatting any longer. Nice people.

she was ! I think she got more interested in boys. Starkasm broke her leg and couldnt get on but could read so I wrote to her every day til she was better and she posted a couple times after that then gone. Keepmumsane disappeared. I miss them all. Part of the reason I worry so much about you guys when I dont hear from ya. Cheyan osted here once. Last time I heard from her.

That happened on the first thread where I was a regular, and where I met Cheeka (was she the one who got you hooked up with the source for local polish?) Another woman ended up with a bad diagnoses, didn't want to discuss it, and eventually disappeared.

I don't think she would have left if she had the choice.

There's still a couple of us die hards on that thread, but the OP dropped off too, so it's a little slower now, but easier to keep up with!

I'm at page 101 on Cheyan's thread. I'm going to finish it. She's probably in college getting her doctorate before 20!

These look pretty similar to me.

Could be, camping! If that's so, then maybe my little Serama really is doing his duty!! None of his eggs looks as sharp and defined as the ones from my old rooster. Got all those moody broodies. Maybe I will mark and leave a few eggs under and see what happens. What's the earliest you can candle and tell if they are fertile?

Yep Granny, I really like my new coat !! You have to understand, I buy ALL of my clothes, except lingerie, socks and shoes at "thrift" stores. Then I literally wear them until they are not fit to wear any more. I actually wear my work clothes until the navy shirts aren't navy any more and then dye them, before buying something to replace them.

So, as Megan said, I was really shopping outside the box this morning!!!
