I did yes. I'm having no luck finding a roo here so I'm thinking I'm going to have to buy Tolbunt eggs and hatch them myself to get a boy for breeding next year

Took me a couple yrs. to replace spaz and now he is down.
 
@Sally Sunshine Hoping I explain this. The one egg I took from broody , I think it might be polish

if not its brown leghorn and dont care. anyway, air cell is day 18 chick isnt . It looks to be close in age or couple days advanced of mine @day 13. I dont want to mess up the hatch as mine look right on . 30% humidity.
 
There sure doesn't seem to be many of them at all, if I buy eggs they are going to be shipped ones which makes things harder. The thought of them getting chucked around at the post office fills me with dread. If I can't find any I'm going to have to go on a new route and maybe get another roo of a different colour, I can't not get the incubator out!!

put it in its own SMALL plastic tall sided container in the bottom where the heat is cooler and put the egg on a tiny little lid on top of a damp sponge in the container. should be plenty for it to hatch, just dont drown it adding water.

almost 3 yrs now trying for tolbunt polish.
