That's what I'm thinking. I may go early tomorrow and grab one before I go for the chicks. Too much invested to not know what the temps are doing.

It's nice for brooders cuz it only takes a quick glance!

Parent stock is from the same farms as mine (GFF and ewe crazy) but these chicks are not from the same breeder. This person is only 30 minutes away instead of ~5 hours.

OH: seven chicks are from two hens and a roo. I plan to keep the pullets for my roo. Not sexable yet.

that should help  are you planning on breeding your older roo to the pullets your getting tomorrow ??? 

Yes, eventually. I won't be able to cull for color until their adult feathers come in.
