All pullets except for 2nd from the right.

You were saying earlier about selling any cockerels from this batch. You ever consider keeping an extra, just in case?

Mine were really, really black when they hatched. Did you look inside any of the mouths yet?

Bert: yup!
Melon: a lady not far from me.
Wishing: I'm going to keep them all until after their juvie molt. I've seen them develop silver leakage after the juvie molt.
ALTHOUGH I have also considered keeping any with silver leakage and crossing them with australorps or black EEs to get bigger/better size on body and eggs. Or maybe a marans. It would be fun to play with.![]()
Thant would be magical...Inky green egg layer!!!!
Oh man they're pretty. I wish we all had buttons at our house that we could push and send and receive chickens and chicks in seconds no matter where they were at. I'd see if you'd let me chicksit these and if local gets them polish I'd chicksit them too. Oh Heck who am I kidding. I'd have thousands from chicksitting all of yalls at the same time. Hey, then y'all could go on trips and stuff. I'd promise to send em back when y'all were ready. MaybeTippy:e

Once you figure out how to pry the little beaks open, it's not bad. I was afraid of killing them when they first hatched. lol
