Make sure he is at least taking an aspirin every day until he gets back on coumadin or whatever (if he is allowed to take aspirin.) If you check online, sometimes you can get those drugs for free from the drug companies if you apply. Many of the heart drugs now can cost $500-700/month for one drug. It's getting ridiculous.

thank you eggsessive, he is on asprin and plavix . he has insurance. the dr. was being an a.. so i took him with me to mail a package today and he waited in the car. for a little bit anyway. he thought i was taking too long and decided to come get me. i seen him through the window and he dropped the keys and i said crap! i went flying out there because i knew where this was going, he started to bend over to pick them up and when he stood he passed out. i caught him just in time for a "graceful"fall. i picked him up from under his armpits and as soon as i got him up most the way a big ol truck driver was there and carried him to the car.if i had just counted to 5 i wouldnt of re hurt my back.

not sure if i told you about the guineas? the neighbors males heard them yelling and decided to come stay with me. i let him know and he came to take a look. he wanted to know if he could leave them until he fixed his place. i told him yes, but if your males cause any "undue" stress over here he is taking them home. my undue stress is getting ready to hatch, 19 of them. his brooder is ready lol hahaha, he is aware of the illness here but i wondered if they are clean? different coop and never any sigh of illness. they are with my couple laying hens that free range and have also never been sick. he doesnt have chickens btw.

i just cant believe all this illness, i am wondering if there is something going on in the house or what! my son got sick day before yesterday with fever, severe headache and back pain. i was at er with him all night last night. they gave him fluids for dehydration, med for pain. said his kidney function was high and sent him home. the tylenol is not working and as soon as their meds wore off he is back to square one. tom fell at the po yesterday, he was supposed to wait in the car but i guess he didnt want to , hurt my back getting him up and then i wake up with severe headache. i think mine is stress. lol the chickens are good now. havent found anyone to get the deneguard yet, probably monday or tuesday. the cream legbars are so friendly and sweet. i thought they may be acting that way because they were sick but nope ! they think i am mama and i cant walk in the grow out pen because of them.

Sorry to hear about your son..hope he starts feeling better soon. And tell your husband to stay put when you are running errands...glad he didn't get hurt. Hope your back starts feeling better. At least the chickens are improving...now you need to work on the humans :)

LOL , it will be my computer next. something on this thing is always mucked up. my back is better already, just sore i guess. i do think my husbands bp meds. is what is doing it for him. as for my son, i dont have a clue. hope he is not getting the flu. he says he hurts all over now. he is autistic and normally dont complain of pain. i have seen him when he was little, sitting and playing with his cars and he had blood dripping down his face from a nose bleed and he would just swipe it out of his way. freaked me out though.

the guinea eggs are still kicking but they have funny air sacks, almost like a wedge of air, like it goes half way down the side then sharp turn up half the egg. seems like a bit of water too there so i would assume it hasnt pipped yet. had an idea, all responses welcome. i love hatching eggs, with the sickness mine have kept in mind, would it be possible to be a hatcher for others? i know i would have to have a completely different set up somewhere else until they pick them up but is it possible? their eggs of course.

talking to myself again, its ok, i was diagnosed with dementia , so if i dont believe me i can come read what i wrote. lol best time i ever had at Easter with my son , he was 4 and we colored eggs . i hid them outside and i had a small yard, so when he woke up i didnt remember where i had put them and i got to go on a hunt too! from then on my husband had to watch where i put them .hahahaha good times. soo, i went out and loosed the beasts, feed the cats, ect... went to go sit on the front porch. first we seen a big mama deer then we were watching one of the barn cats around the pond and SPLASH , in he went , i thought he was a goner but nope, out he comes soaking wet with a big ol bull frog in his mouth! LOL, they only eat the legs , i have seen the results of this enough times , little frogs dragging themselves around, crutches, little mini wheelchairs. poor things. you would think with no legs they would have the good manners enough to just croak.
