I fed everyone chicken wraps and they wanted brown butter noodles, green beans and biscuits dont ask... and the noodles with ketchup.... again dont ask

I had an omlet with steak and onies yumms didnt have green pepper used that with the sausage sammies last night

Your dinner sound yummers. We are supposed to be going for burgers tonight. Waiting on hubs to get home from work.

well, somebeach I just killed my first chick. sorry I went mia. put the eggs on lock down and they dont look good. cloudy or cant see , about a 16 day air cell. the one I got from broody mama is internaly piped can see its little toes but no movement there either. I was taking the turner out and dropped the end of the plug on an egg and gave it a big pip hole . blood and all. I put it back in there upright .

Honestly, I don't think my last nerve could handle incubating. So many things to go wrong, and I would feel responsible. I like letting the hens do all the work. If the eggs don't hatch, not my fault!

Maybe the cracked one will still hatch.

Wishing, that vivatar I think was the one I had. I paid $20 for it on sale. Gave it to someone that knew how to work them and she said she had to contact co. because it didnt work right. Please dont buy me an expensive camera . Probably not a chance I will learn how to use it. I have tried with 2 different ones now.

I was going to check with you first. Was looking for something decent at a reasonable price or on sale or one that has been refurbished. Nothing too expensive, but one that works! I can teach you how to use it...

LoKo, do you remember if it was Sally's place or the EHAL that the person posted about losing stock, hatching pullet eggs, and losing egg size in just a generation or two?

I know but that's not what looking for This was a member posting about losing their hens and hatching from pullets, but within just a generation or two noticed the birds weren't as big or laying eggs the same size. I want to talk about the weights of my hona eggs and whether they're close enough to the right size, or if it's unethical to sell chicks from pullet eggs with the knowledge that they won't grow to the (nonexistent) standard.

I have had a nasty cough since I cleaned out the brooders. thats when it started , the next morning. I noticed today I am having a hard time keeping my smokes lit. More investigation shows them to be expired by 2 months .
