In the mean time, I'm going to ignore housework to keep distressing this monstrous beauty. $15 at my favorite junk store.

Wow.
Not bad.
Love the patina

I did that. :D it was already that color, just filthy. I sanded the dirt off and kept going til I hit wood. A couple of licks past that, then on to the next part. I'm hanging it in the entry way.

Morning all. Camping, hope you get your humidity straightened out. I don't know a thing about bators but seems to be a bad gauge. Heck I'm in NC and I've never seen the humidity that low lol.

That empty spot. I can't get the rails out; I thought they just popped out, but I sure can't make em.

I'm getting DH to grab another hygro while he's in town. Should be less than an hour.

I have 3-4 more of those but can't find them. I guess this is the "accurate" once since it was stored in the bator.

just remember no fan = no air movement to pick up that water...or bring in or out just for the record, I would never hatch in a still air bator because its so easy to add a fan... just sayin but again, I have learned much a good wafer switch out is also a necessity, but if I go to that extreme I am just gonna make another coolerbator that I KNOW cleans easy holds well and easily bleachable...

good morning all I think.
