When my sis and I went our our road trip last summer, we splurged one night and stayed at this expensive place, a historic inn. It was supposed to have a really good dining room and good food. Food was cooked horribly, service was terrible. I watched a guy clearing tables after people left. He picked up silverware off the dirty table, and if it looked like it hadn't been used, reset the clean table with it! Needless to say, we were frantically wiping our forks! I told the one waitress who was actually working (as opposed to the others walking around empty handed). She was appalled and said more training would happen. Sure. We didn't care. Leaving that morning to go home sweet home!
