Red, how are you using it for baskets ? Leaves ? Is it still green ? I am wondering how hardy it is ? Think if I mailed you the shipping money you could send some in about a month or so ? Love cane fishing.

We split the bamboo and weave it together. Its the first time so I'm not sure how it will turn out. It is still green. As far as shipping, are you wanting cane poles or?

I want to plant it in my yard . is it the running or clumping kind ? I have so much standing water here.

if you had ice and its still green I would think its the hardy kind. I think it would make a great wind screen for the chicken run and they would keep it from spreading too bad.

To be honest idk. Its all kinda close together. I could try to get some small ones with the roots . Idk if it'd make it without water though. I could wrap some wet news paper around the roots I guess. I'll do some research on it tomorrow and see if it is possible. Please remind me.

ok, if it gets that far you can use paper towels wet and a plastic bag with a rubber band or some such to try and seal the wet in. maybe just the root sealed in a ziplock.

I think it would make a good screen. Most of the stuff here is about pencil size in diameter. I know where some is that's about goofball size up to baseball size in diameter though. Wonder if the thin stuff gets bigger. There's only two places here that I know of that it gets bigger than pencil size.

If you can get your hands on a diaper they work well too. If you think it would be too hard to dig then no worries. That may be why they want $26. a plant and shipping.
