I have tons of cages but only 3 wood ones with chicken wire fronts. Paid a guy $100. to make them just because I could. LOL they have leather hinges. I have about 15 more eggs in there but they were too dirty to suit me.

thats one boss hen house camping thats going to look smart from outta space never mind close up yer right a first class job should have glue and be screwed no banging in nails this is my house that i built for my 7 girls not as grand as yours but i did it all myself the walls are 19mm t and g loglap roof 19 mm shiplap and the floor is 33mm t and g floor boards all screwed to a 50x50mm frame anyway i look forward to seeing yours when your done stay lucky

Hi Tippylou!! and the rest of my friends! Been busy but just had to check back in with everyone. Bitter cold here now temps barely getting above zero (normal for us this time of year) but my spoiled rotten chooks are spending their time lounging around in the greenhouse where the temps stay around 80o if the sun's shining, snacking on kale leaves and having dustbathing parties by making a mess of my greenhouse floor. Sad news. My sweet little rescue kitty that had lived with us for over 9 years lost her fight with feline lymphoma. We had done all we could except the chemo drugs. Just couldn't see the point of going thru the outrageous expense and putting her thru it since there's no cure and would only delay the end. It got to the point we could no longer control the vomiting and she really wasn't enjoying life anymore. We were forced to do the loving thing, the hard thing, the right thing. I'm still not used to waking up yet without her tapping me gently on the face. I still catch myself listening to hear if she's alright. Who's going to keep me company in the spring as I work in the herb garden now?

I have collapsed bones in my back for sure so I am just going to venture a guess thats what is wrong with my neck too.

ya see. what if you do ? Pinched nerves aint no laughing matter. They have a drug called nerotin (sp) but from past experience its not a good drug and a few people I know had bad times with it as well. We are not all addicts, some of us have real pain. Those things dont make me high and I dont see why they are abused . I guess they effect people differently . I know they did my DD.

granny the addicts take more then prescribed at one time. I don't know how it doesn't kill them fast. Do you have a pain clinic near by.? They sent me to one and they will give them to you if epidurals don't work. As much as I hate needles, I was praying that they'd work. They didn't unfortunately. I never take all that I'm supposed too. If I knew I wouldn't get in trouble I'd send you some but I know that's a big time crime. I hate to see people that really need them have sucha hard time getting what they need.

epidural Red ? I wonder if thats what they did to my back. I got shots in my lower spine about 4-5 times and they hurt like a you know what. I couldnt stand upright and he said it will hurt worse before it got better. He was right but they left something like a water bubble at injection site that never went away.

Breakfast for dinner. Chicken sausage, potatoes, eggs, and veggies for the boys. Hubs and I had our eggs with the sausage and potatoes and added onion, mushrooms, and spinach. Kind of an open omelette. I wanted lots of stuff, but not too many eggs.
