I have a request for prayers for a very dear childhood friend...... He went to the ER and was diagnosed with viral pneumonia. He was immediately transferred to another, better equipped hospital. He has been put into a medically induced coma. Yesterday he was airlifted to a hospital in richmond , Virginia. He is in ICU still in an induced coma. His wife reports today that he is not any worse, but also not any better. David is like a brother to my family, and I am a strong believer in the strength of prayer, so I am asking all of my family at Granny's house to help him out. Thanks

I told pearl not to send me and the kids. She's lucky I didn't have room enough in my car for the goats I saw.

Granny, Did you really give Attimus advice on cooking for his restaurant. He said it came out really good. I am supper impressed. I love that kid. Hope you guys are enjoying him.

I love seeing all the great meals that he post.

Hi All! Was productive today. Got some art supplies and (my personal goal) burried a rabbit that died when the ground was frozen solid. Had to keep it in the freezer. Led to an odd conversation with my sister. "Come on! We keep our food in there!" LOL Made a quick eye to try out my new supplies: Anyway, need to play a little catch up, be on still later...

My father planted by signs of the moon. U can look them up on internet in old farmers almanac. Next time to set eggs by the moon is 3/22-23.

Good morning all. That is very interesting. I am teaching myself how to garden this year and bought some seeds and a grow lamp. I'm assuming that the moon phases depend on area perhaps? I will research.

Granny, I was thinking about your roo. I am not sure but it sounds like it could be an abscess created by a wound. I don't know if it is drainable but I can research for you too.

Megan and I are so pathetic......... Yesterday was so pretty, we just could NOT stay inside and do things in the house that needed to be done.......

We decided that we would much rather scoop doggy poops, cut some very wicked briars and pick up trash in the yard........ than do dishes.......

I stayed outside yesterday too..the housework waited for me..

Hi Jane, so glad to hear from you. Sounds like you've been busy moving chickens & getting ready to garden. Wish my weather would allow that, can't even see my garden, its covered with lots of snow yet.
