Dedicating myself to the hona chicks today. (And laundry, and junk sorting.) It's been a bit like triage around here, everyone getting minimal care because finishing the hatcher was the most desperate project.

Sick hona is spasming when I hold it? Legs and head twitch. I'm making it a super thin slurry. I spent yesterday trying to get it hydrated. It's a bit stronger today, seems hungry and thirsty.

Poor chicky. Just what you need, one more thing.

Linda, somehow lost your quote. Regarding your incubator, can you put it in a closet? Should be much steadier temps with the door closed. Or maybe put it in a larger cardboard box? Anything that will keep drafts away, but still allow it to breathe. Hatching makes you happy! You must hatch!

I was debating that, I think I just need to take a small break and get back to trying.
