They've been fine all winter I have a heat lamp over the waterer in the coop to keep it unfrozen & it kicks off a little warmth, but momma does the rest.

no thats not how it would have an extra toe. I dont know how its done . It was an oops bird I think.

I have a very large cage but I am half afraid of her. LOL She built a nest on the ground out of straw. its about 2 ft. tall.
