It's fine. I mean I'm disappointed, but I don't get real emotional over pets/animals that die.

I'm staying in my office today. Gotta find birth certificates because we need passports. DH wants to book a cruise instead of hiking in Idaho.

Howdy folks.

Camping you sound allot like me. Disappointed in the production loss, instead of the animal.

Busy today. Getting greenhouse rolling with seeds in trays and have the hay ale garden set up an hay bales soaking to get the middle of them breaking down.

Not exactly. I get disappointed in my inability to save it or do better. Not a big deal, though. It happens.

Understand. I was saying why I get disappointed. Lol

I may be a tad different with my hunting buddy pups tho. Our working dogs not as much.

Planting our garden in hay bales. Not hay as mulch but the bales.
I'm on phone, and it's acting wonky.

But you can google hay bale gardening. pretty interesting.

I've debated doing that...

Maybe when we're not renting. Then I'll be able to go hog wild.

I like no tilling. Lol. I may till between rows and put down fabric. But they are far enough apart our mower will easily fit.

No weeds either , except what germinated and is existing in the hay bale.

Pro grab a bale and plant a couple of squash or cukes or one of each. Here it takes abouth two weeks to prep the bale.

I have to be so careful of what bales I get. Landlord gets angry as heck with the weeds from Bermuda grass if I went that way. (From what I've heard from a neighbor).

And I could see rabbits/squirrels being a problem. Oh well. I already have a bunch of raised beds and containers to play with. I'll be starting to plant things and stuff in another week or two ;)
