Mind if I pick your brain a bit - since you are renting can I ask how you approached the idea of chickens with your landlord and how open/resistant to them they were when you asked? 

Before we signed the lease we asked if he'd be cool with it. He said hens only (but kinda relented when noodlehead turned out to be a roo)

Day 20 began two hours ago. It's an EE with tree trunk legs! I'm going to start keeping records to see if the first chick out is always a roo. I have another tiny pip.

hi all again, I must be sick . Robert woke me up from the chair again for food only this time he fed me. Ramen noodles. LOL 2 splay legs are not eating . The others are picking on them . GS is here and he is moving them to a brooder to themselves.
