Most of it soaked in. We're good for now. DH had to pick up supplies so I'll ask him how it looks south of here. And I'll check on the river tomorrow. Here's my guineas digging up worms. There's a fourth, but it must be a second cock because the big one always runs it off. They let it hang around, but not close. I need to trap them all. I can hear there sounds, but I can't tell any difference.
I seen someone asking you what kind of turkeys they were. :D
She's a sweet lady. :) She was the secretary of the journalism dept. when I was in college.

Are those Mixed Royal Purple/White Guineas??
Yep, pied. The breeder has the regular kind (pearl?) but was getting some lavender. She kept all those to breed. I like the pied well enough.
Thanks granny Whatever they is They looks tasty :drool
LOL I cleaned one once. all dark meat. harder then a duck to clean. I gave it away. I have heard collards aint much good til they are frosted on ???
We've talked about eating it. They're high at the auction right now, more than it'd be worth to eat. $18-25 for hens, less for cocks.

It really is a decision, isn't it?  I keep trying to convince my surly teenager of that, he doesn't understand it's a choice to be happy.
X2 I know before I had to quit my job I stayed happy. If I stay as busy as I can and feel like I'm doing good for others, then I'm pretty happy now. Just gets me down not to be able to do things as fast as I use too.
