I would never on purpose sell chicks for snake food. They are supposed to be RIR but I think they are production reds. sexed females 6 of them .

cool so lots more eggs to figure out what you are going to do with them after the required 3 weeks on the counter.

I do as well I just can't figure out why I was asked ??? not like I know a whole bunch about breeds, sickness, SOP , or other birds, have never incubated. Just a regular type of joe with a "twisted" mind

It wasnt me Twist. I am not the only person that thinks you have an interesting life. Dont sell yourself short. Its not becoming on you.

If they came from a big hatchery, they are production reds regardless of what the label on the shipping box says. I have a hatchery New Hamp, good layer, but on the aggressive side. I've heard production rir's can be mean. You will have to watch them when they join the flock. OR... keep them separate, and sell them as pol pullets for $15 each in a few months.
