There are an estimated 950,000 different kinds of bugs. If it didnt bite you dont worry about it. its a bug. LOL
I'm worried about them feeding on the babies. I went out just now and found a hatched baby outside the nest. Touched it and it squirmed, cold but alive. I tucked it down in my cleavage while I tried to check the nest for more. Eggs look clean, another egg zipping and maybe one hatched? The bugs are all swarmed on a board I'm using to raise up the feeder. I'll try another pic. But I don't see them anywhere else, and they're not in the feed.
Y'all get red bugs? Chiggers? That's what they remind me of.
I put the baby back in the nest, just hoping I don't regret that later. Guess that's the only way to learn what kind of broody she's going to be.
