It also looks to be in the wrong position to hatch. . Were it mine I would give a small external pip for air and tons of moisture til am. If its still viable then and in the same position I would assist. But thats me and not intended to kill your chick. Its past day 21 correct ?

Granny.. I say just help her..

I dont like being responsible for others chicks . If I kill one of mine I learned a lesson but if I kill someone elses Im an @ss. Its happened.
Sally dont like to help them hatch . A ton of people do it too early and kill them because they cant sit on their hands. (Like me) .

what did she say ? @Sally Sunshine
Does Camping need to help this chick out ? It also looks wrapped to me and didnt you have one wrapped already Camping ?

I don't know what day it's on. She laid one a day for three days after I took her original four. I didn't have one wrapped, it was unzipping and died. Not totally sure why, unless she smothered it or it got cold. All it had to do wash push out, so maybe it was weak. There's just two eggs now, no draw down on the other. I don't usually candle when they're internally pipped, so I don't know if it looks ok or not. I just need to leave it alone, and leave the bator closed.

I'm in such a bad mood I really am having a hard time caring.

aggravation can mess you up easy.

I've assisted lots. I'm trying to interfere less because I think a lot of my assists could have done it on their own if I hadn't meddled in the first place. I thought I saw a vein, but hard to say. Hopefully the dead ones are culls, at least. Except the zipper was all black. :/

If it is indeed shrinkwrapped it wont hatch in its own

If you opened it put bacitracin on the membrane to keep it from drying out further and it will also let you see when it is ready to hatch by way of the veins shriveling up. You can see the veins very well when the membrane has been moistened. If you use water on the membrane it will dry out very quickly.

I cant tell you to open it though.
