I love cornbread with milk on it. Mike says the thought of milk on corn bread gags him!
I have to laugh. Some Volvo friends of mine posted pics of their family (two little kidlets) visiting some sort of thing...had dog frisbee, agility, chicks and chickens....
I comment on the one of his daughter reaching out to a frizzle hen that oh my gosh love the frizzle.

They like acidity in the soil, which is why they love the pine trees so much. Some people put coffee grounds on them.
Not all are getting dug up, just the ones by the goats. Most others are just getting cut back. They're full of cotton mouths in the summer. This is the only time of year they aren't a total eyesore, and it's only a couple of weeks. Some we want to replace with things that will flower in the summer.
It was the nearest thing my kids hot to a bowl of cereal. My second ex didn't buy boxed anything....... Everything we ate was homemade......
Did you make sweet cornbread ? I remember they would just crumble a piece up in a glass of milk. I dislike washing those glasses.
