Im sorry I know that feeling well. Did you get the things you needed to make your new incubator ? I will be doing it again with more polish and we can give it another go. I am already saving eggs.

I just got the last piece I needed. Now I just have to figure out how to do it.

$250.00 later and still no dinner. LOL I am not cooking even a tv dinner. Still need to tend the chickens . I didnt make it through Krogers either. eldest GS came and helped .  I missed a lot of stuff but we will make due with what I got. I need a Camping here to help me shop and teach me.  
RED, Lisa comes on every day , she just isnt talking. I havent heard from newfie in a long time. You know, It goes that way sometimes. People stay long enough to where you miss them pretty bad and never come back or come back months later.   I guess they get busy with life.  Dont stop you from missing them though.  I have gotten too close to a lot of people that breeze out as fast as they came in. Hurts too.

depends on the quality? Not sure if thats the right way to say that. some silkies have vaulted sculls some dont. Those that do "look" like they are born with a top. and supposedly not as top quality. ( Not my words) . Some grow them big some just have a tiny puff.  Unfortunately I cant answer original question . LOL depends on the chicken. AKA blood lines.  I Think they come with the other feathers/fuzz does.

that's odd. We are talking about the po of on their head right? The one from the breeder was born with one and the ones from tsc weren't. The ones from tsc that we got last took a few weeks.

I get that too, so know the feeling. I wallow in it for awhile, and then it usually goes away. Until then, boys steer clear. It is harder with younger ones. Chocolate helps a lot!
