Have you guys ever heard the story of the praying hands artist.... the old man at the dining room table praying and stuff.. Its very neat.... Two buddies lived together.. One worked hard labor so the other can go to school.... they both wanted to be artists.. the one guy ruined his hands in all the hard labor and was never able to go to college and so the artsit who is his buddy paints his hands in all of his art work.... True friendship there.

I had not . great story

Well I responded to the lady on fb by asking for links to her proof. I've been reading USDA PDFs and can't find sevin (carbaryl) specifically mentioned anywhere.

It doesn't make sense that a powder used in gardens would have a lifetime withdrawal in eggs.

I tagged Kathy, but if anyone has any insight I'd live to hear it. Truly. I don't hold stock in sevin.

I read a few articles and they said that there is no proof for that or any wormer that causes any issue with the eggs of the hens... But I only read one article a while back.

Hi everybody, home again ~ feel like the only thing I did for the past 2 days is ride in a car. :he Duh that's what I did. Did go see my aunt this morning even though I'm stuffy. I think it just my allergies going haywire. Bad sinus pressure & drainage. Eyes hurting & itching & constant sneezing. Feel pretty wiped out, haven't been sleeping well since the stupid time change. But enough complaining, do have some good news. Ended up with 10/15 chicks for my EHAL hatch. It was really hard being gone when they are hatching. Dd did great, but she said I can't ever go away again when I have a hatch going on, LOL. Couldn't help it, they were supposed to be hatched by the time I left, darn late hatch. Dd had to assist the last little girl hatching today. She was very sticky, she had been pipped over 24 hours, wasn't making any progress & she started going into distress. I washed her, dried her & put her back in the incubator for the night. She seems to be doing good. Got my Bielefelder eggs picked up while down state. The place we picked them up at had this most awesome pond on their property. I have always wanted to have a small farm, acreage & a pond. Not asking for much :lau Twist I think you need to look into the Bielefelder for your forever breed. Great disposition, dual purpose (this ladies roo was over 12 pounds) hens lay extra large brown eggs. I'll keep you post down the road on how they do on feed. Oops, forgot they are auto sexing as well ~ a huge plus!

Granny ~ what a great hatch you had ~ I'm so glad, you were overdo for one.

Linda ~ glad to hear that you got the bator fixed & that the eggs weren't in yet.

Red, very exciting that your hatching. Its very, very addictive lol. I tend to be like granny when hatching. I stress heavily, especially when I have expensive eggs in the bator.

Newfie ~ Sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling good for 2 weeks and that you've had some mishaps of late. You are in my prayers & sending many :hugs

I know I missed a lot more, but my head is hurting me. I think I'm going to call it a night. Happy Easter to all of you, God Bless & sweet dreams :hugs
