Anyone know how this happens this is a oak tree with flowers
I thought it was a vine but each flower has a stem growing outThe tree
there is a plant, called tillandsia, that grows on trees.......many times called spanish moss, or something similar....

I bet that is what it is. we have it allot down here on our oak trees. it's a type of air plant, meaning, it doesn't need soil, and it's roots will take in just about anything.

I used to get allot of different varieties..also did bromeliads.
 
Redbud, Cercis canadensis, on Saint Bernard Street, between 49th and 50th Streets, off Warrington Avenue, visit in late April-early May to see its unusual distribution of flowers almost completely clothing the entire tree.
