Where is twist, ya think he got fumigated with rotting mouse smells. If I was that guy, I certainly wouldn't stay in the house when there a number of smell free rooms available to sleep in. That is such a nasty smell, just wonder how & why they all got in. Has to be something to do with the new boiler. Wonder if when Mutt & Jeff Extrodinare replaced the old one, if there wasn't something like a pipe not needed for the new system that left a hole for the bugger's to get in.

Maybe twist should have a look if he hasn't already.

My last two chicks that hatched wed-thur were sticky, but humidity was off the charts. One has splayleg too, but is coming around with keeping the legs teetherd.
How did you go about the splay leg?
I take a narrow piece of vet wrap, attach to each leg, just above the foot drawing the legs in to a normal stance. After a few days I check them. If they still arent corrected I restrap & repeat the process until they are corrected.

I know it's not the same, I have hatched eggs myself. But... we all eat fertile eggs without a second thought. They are potentially chicks also. If you try and hatch them and are unsuccessful, I try and look at it like these were an opportunity for chicks. Potential chicks. I try not to view it as a loss. I could have eaten those eggs or boiled them up for the hens. I'm sorry I can't find the words to properly express my thoughts.

I would think that with the smell & all the trapping he has done that he has hunted high & low for the place they are coming in. Unless the mice were brought in accidently with the boiler pieces.
