here's one i wrote for my wife some 35 years ago its called

my love

as the mist roll's in across the glen, hiding the forest from my view
the nightingale sings her song, the sound so sweet and new
a trout makes a ripple, as slowly, she swims on her way
and my love still, i dream of you,as night turns into day

the sun smiles warmly in the sky, and drives away dawns chill
wild flowers from buds, are blooming,the summers air so still
the might oak tree standing, it's stood the test of time
and my mind just keeps on wondering,how long, will you be mine

i lay beside you thinking,is this love we share for real
or is it just a passing phase,or some thing we can feel
will these burning embers,quickly, fade away and die
or my love, forever shall i see, that love light in your eye

no one man has the right to own, this land so green and fair
and who's to say these woods, belong not to the bear
and who's to say, that the bird's can't fly, in this sky of violet blue
but if the world was mine to give, well i'd give the world to you

but what ever happens now my love, these words are from my heart
of all the fair things in this world, from such as you they start
for in your eyes a rainbows born, and from your smile the sun
and the sweet scented rose,when next to you, colour has it none

I can't keep up!

It's 3:48 right now. I'm drinking ginger ale because I'm feeling queasy again. I won a voucher for a discount at the spa! So I have an acupuncture session in an hour.

I've been taking pictures of my food! This morning for brunch I had a bagel with cream cheese and dill and PILES of smoked salmon, then filet mignon and fried eggs. I had salad for lunch.

Where is everybody? Dh went to the garden with me to plant 12 cabbage plants. Don t like to garden on Sunday but its supposed to rain tomorrow. May go back to chicken auction friday. Been thinking about EE chicks that went for $1 apiece.

Wow Camping! You look lovely and relaxed. Keep up the ginger ale, it should help. The food sounds good and acupuncture is so relaxing, I love it!
