Bins are fenced off and latched. Employees are *usually* at the counter 20ft away..... I agree though, local is best.

My TSC is that way and they even had signs about not selling them as Easter chicks. I was proud of them for that.

YES nearly forgot that!!! And they have a printout of safe handling and care they hand out to all chick/ling buyers! I loved that.

much better system then up here.   They are in the back  no employee's around usually ,  dead ones in the tub.    BUT   cornishx are only 1.19 each.     Other wise prices are more then my hatchery  and guareented
