gotta love my life,it started out bad and its ending that way. new dog had me trapped in the bed, the side i get out wasnt available . i thought , now ive always heard dont get out on the wrong side of the bed, its bad luck. now, my dumb ... struggled for 20 min. to get out on the "right" side. went to let the chickens out and a baby in the pole barn was dead, pulled through the bars and another was in shock with a bare bottom. nothing ate just killed. my son wakes up screaming in pain with a crones flair, i decide i am going to break down and cook. so i go to the torture chamber and preheat the stove and grab my already made ribs, open my already made mashed potatoes, open a can of corn and get the ol man to open a can of biscuits. (the pop scares me) yes, that is what i call cooking. anyway, my husband says "i dont feel good and BAM, down he goes. he is having a severe sugar drop. must be the idea of food coming. so i get him to the chair and pump him up with some sugar . i walk into the kitchen and look at what comes next. is the oven preheated? oh ya, its on fire ! i say uhh, the stove is on fire, and my autistic son , in 2 seconds , has the fire thingy out, the oven open and spraying that crap all over the place. i mean, its not like i am having a woman from Purdue coming in the morning to help me cook some meals to last all week or anything. we had to drag my husband out the door because of the smoke. he didnt have his oxygen on. i went back in and opened the windows, doors ect.. out came the dogs and cats and in went the barn cats and a chicken. that was the easy part. if anyone has ever sprayed that thing they know !! i had to throw all the food away, scrub every little thing down in the kitchen , swept and mopped 4 times , right down to the dog dishes and salt shaker. OMG, what a mess. by the time i got to the stove itself, i could do no more. i called in reinforcements. i am now glad to say, my kitchen is cleaner then it has ever been. little worried though, never did see where that chicken went. oh, did i forget to say i had mcdonalds for dinner? now theres a treat. i forgot to put socks on and one of them had left me a nice little prize in my boots. you cant make this crap up people !! mi vida loco.
well, its not like it didnt need it any way. LOL that dust or what ever it is , its everywhere ! and that is what i did , stood there and watched the fire. thankful for my son. smartest one in the house. i was in tears cleaning every thing in there. i would of never made the oven. so the kitchen is clean for this woman, she comes and needs my 9x12s and lo and behold, i get them down hand them to her and they were not clean !! LOL someone missed the cake frosting in the corner.at this point i really dont care. hahahaaa![]()
LOL, my husband is in charge of dishes . he has a stroke arm thats no good and a broken wrist(according to him, we go to dr. tomorrow) so i cant yell about a dirty dish. hahaha hard to work with one hand, cant imagine how difficult it is for him now with the other one hurt. the thing is, i havent baked a cake in months and monthsWhoopadaisy! Someone got lazy on you. LOL Well, if tiny bits of missed stuff is all it is, you will feel more like taking care of it in a few days. You'll be ok now.
i have no idea what is going on out there. the big ones are coming up missing in the day. the babies were in a cage i was sure nothing could get to them. they are fully feathered now and i wanted to introduce them. they are back in the barn. the one that was in shock still having problems. think there was some damage inside when the feathers were removed from the back end. pretty swelled up and it still seems shocky.Well what the heck got the chicks? Poor thingsI would say coon put I think it would have ate at least some of it. Maybe a cat. Lock those baby's in at night Granny!![]()
